Mt Pulag National Park: Opening the gates for tourists in 2022

Finally! The favorite playground is now open after the COVID-19 pandemic hits the country.

DENR officially open the national park in Quarter 2 of 2022. Tourists still need to comply with COVID protective measures to avoid the possible spread of the disease.

Mandatory requirements: Medical Certificate that indicates you are Physically Fit to climb Mt. Pulag. Also, don’t forget to visit the DENR office (located near the BSU campus) for registration and assessment before the hike/camping.

t. Pulag is the 3rd Highest Peak in the Philippines, the Gem of Cordillera. The mountain peak is measured at 2,928 MASL, an average of 6 hours hike to complete the track of the ambangeg trail (easy trail). The trail is popular for hiking, don’t forget to gear up properly because the temperature lowers below freezing point sometimes. It is a blessing if it rains the night before your hike; You’ll probably be blessed with one of the best views of clouds!

The Opportunity to RUN Mt.Pulag

We are given an opportunity to visit Mt.Pulag before the official tourist opening. It was an amazing 21km Trail Race organized by PhilTra. The event is part of the POSF (Pilipinas Obstacle Sports Federation) altitude world series and is exclusive to registered participants only.
